The key elements are precisely the cutters for the device and the obligatory professional handling of the same. There are many milling cutters, and one of the most popular ones are:
- Corn (for removing material)
- Flame (for cuticle treatment)
- Ball (for cuticles)
- Cylinder (for cuticles)…
When the cutters are used correctly, the result is flawless - the so-called RUSSIAN MANICURE, and then the magic happens. On nails treated in this way, every application of the material, whether it is varnishing or gel pouring technique, is significantly longer lasting and of better aesthetic quality. Varnishing, after the Russian manicure, becomes equal to perfection. Nails can absolutely be painted up to the very cuticle, which extends the shelf life of the manicure. When it comes to gel polish, instead of 2 weeks, the correction is done in 3, and very often in 4 weeks.
The durability of the gel polish is greatly influenced by the base. Another key element of the Russian manicure is the base. The most popular are:
- Rubber base, with which the imperfections of the nail plate can be corrected (thin, uneven, upward or downward growth)
- Cover bases, which cover the color of the nail plate and provide a better base for bright or NUDE colors, which are sometimes not pigmented enough. With cover bases, the polish will not be transparent and will not leave "grooves" on the nails.
When it comes to RUSSIAN PEDICURE, we must mention the treatment of the feet with disks. The discs are attachments for the appliance and they change the files. There are various granulations that are chosen according to the degree of thickening on the skin of the feet. Discs, with professional use, turn thickened skin into dust and do not leave "scratches" on the feet like files do. Feet remain smooth and soft, and re-thickenings are made more slowly. In the education for Russian manicure and pedicure, we go through the theoretical part, get acquainted with disinfection, sterilization, apparatus, cutters, instruments and materials used. The practical part is done on models with supervision, we practice correct technique and point out possible mistakes.
